About Us - Pressure Washing Company
East Coast Power Washing was founded in 2004 almost 20 years ago in Derry New Hampshire by myself. The idea came after a trip to Naples Florida in the winter of 2003. We are not a franchise but a sole proprietorship. My father George gave me the idea when we first pulled into his development and said he had his roof power washed for $400. He mentioned that the guy was washing roofs in the neighborhood all day long. I came home and researched pressure washing online and found out if it was a good idea. I left my job as manager at a collection law firm in September of 2004 and started the business in October 2004. I found a trailer I really liked on a website called Detrailers in California. Jeff Hasslebach of Detrailers built the custom trailer and came to Boston for a week to train me and my friend.
Our original name was East Coast Power Washing & Detailing, Inc. and we offered car detailing along with power washing for about 5 years.
