- Soft washing uses low-pressure water combined with biodegradable cleaning solutions to safely remove algae, mold, mildew, and grime from delicate surfaces like roofs, siding, and painted wood. Pressure washing uses high-pressure water and is better suited for hard surfaces like concrete driveways and brick. We recommend soft washing for most home exteriors to prevent surface damage.
- High-pressure washing can damage shingles, void manufacturer warranties, and force water under your roofing material. That's why we use our zero-pressure roof soft wash method — low-pressure application with professional-grade cleaning solutions that kill moss, algae, and lichen at the root without lifting or cracking a single shingle.
- Our pricing is based on home size: Small homes under 2,000 sq ft start at $500; Medium homes 2,000–3,000 sq ft are $600; Large homes 3,000–4,000 sq ft are $700. Roof treatments, whole-house bundles, and commercial work are custom-quoted. Fill out our quote form and we'll get back to you within one business day.
- Most New England homes benefit from a professional exterior wash once a year, ideally in spring or early fall. Homes surrounded by trees, near water, or in shaded areas may develop algae and mildew faster and benefit from twice-yearly service. Regular cleaning also protects your paint and siding from long-term deterioration.
- No — you don't need to be home as long as we have access to an outdoor water spigot and the areas to be cleaned are accessible. We'll confirm all details before your appointment and send a completion notification when the job is done.
